DAY 35 : MARY POOL

2 May 2010.   A quieter day today with a short drive to a free camp site called Mary Pool.  There were lots of campers and caravaners who spent the night here.   Saw lots of  beautiful birds including Black Cockatoos and a Painted Bee-Eater!!   Most of the birds were too difficult to photograph but here are a couple.....

Above is a Whistling Kite (a very common bird which we've seen all along the road)....
